Digestible History collects no personal data, requires no account, uses no advertising, and does no tracking of any kind. Your use of the app is entirely private.
Digestible History does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information from users. This includes:
The app uses Apple's On-Demand Resources (ODR) system to download image content as needed. This content is downloaded from Apple's servers — no personal data is transmitted in this process beyond what Apple's standard CDN infrastructure requires. Digestible History does not operate its own servers for this purpose.
The Front Page section retrieves publicly available newspaper data from the Library of Congress's Chronicling America API. This is a read-only, anonymous request — no user data is sent to the Library of Congress.
Tapping a Further Education link opens the destination in an in-app browser (SFSafariViewController). The destination website's own privacy policy applies once you navigate there. Digestible History does not track which links you tap.
Digestible History does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or similar providers.
Digestible History does not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else. There is simply nothing to collect.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Given the nature of the app, significant changes are unlikely.
